We have owned Lacy since he was weaned and he has had the best of care and training. He is shod, up to date on all vaccinations, wormings, has had his teeth checked/ floated and is shod. He has very good barn manners, ships, clips, vacumns and cross ties well.

 Lacy's sire, Radjah Z (by Ramiro Z out of an Alme mare) sired the 2000 Sydney Olympic individual show jumping finalist, Hildon Premier CRU and is a 3/4 brother to Ratina Z.

2009 Season

September - Warrenton Horse Show Hunt Night - Second in the 18 - 30 Field Hunter O/F class, third in the Staff Class. Seneca Pony Club Horse Trials - Seventh in the Open Training division.

August - Culpeper HITS - Sixth place in a Low AA jumper class.

June - CVSJA - Showed in schooling jumpers with ribbons.

July - Dressage At Lexington - Showed First Level dressage with scores in the low 60's.

 

Lacy was in Aiken, SC with us this winter and competed Novice and Training, schooling Preliminary.

March - At the Southern Pines I Horse Trials he had a double clear crosscountry and had a super show jumping round in his first Training outing. We are planning to spend the spring doing the jumpers with him.

2008 Season

Aiken 2008 Sporting Days Young Event Horse Class

(Mar. 08) Places second at Southern Pines I Horse Trials (30.5% dressage score)

(Mar. 08) Places second at Sporting Days Combined Test (33.2% dressage score)

(Feb. 08) Lacy competed in his first competition at Full Gallop Farm's Horse Trials in the Open Beginner Novice Division finishing in fourth place (35% dressage score).

(Dec. 07) Lacy has started hunting first flight with Thornton Hill and is a real gentleman.

 

M-S Royal is sired by the celebrated jumping stallion Radjah Z. Radjah Z is a 100 day tested, Oldenburg stallion who competed at international jumping levels. He has some age to him now, but his talent and bloodlines are a valued asset to our breeding program. Radjah offspring are noted for their kind disposition, elegant and athletic build along with an outstanding aptitude for jumping. Radjah has sired Olympic competitors, international level jumpers and several approved sons, including Rangoon who won his stallion testing in 1992. Radjah was purchased by the Flyinge Stud in Sweden to inject his notable bloodlines into their breeding. Later, he was imported to Canada, along with Beach Boy. Another notable point, Radjah Z is a 3/4 brother to one of the most talented jumping mares of all time, Ratina Z. Ratina was an international superstar shown by Ludger Beerbaum.

Radjah is sired by Ramiro Z who is thought by many to be the "Stallion of the century". An international show jumper shown by Fritz Ligges, Ramiro Z was described as an ideal type for Holsteiner breed at his stallion inspection. Given his extraordinary talent, Ramiro Z was used by various registries across Europe including Westfalia, Holsteiner, KWPN and Zangersheide. His offspring, direct offpsring and grandchildren, are found in the international show jumping ring, and they have proven to be fierce competitors. Additionally, many Ramiro Z offspring have been shown at international level in the dressage ring.  In 1992, the KWPN awarded Ramiro Z with the title of "Horse of the Year".

Radjah's dam line is no exception to his breeding ex cellence. His dam, Almud, is sired by legendary Selle Francais jumping stallion Alme. An international show jumper, Alme was ridden by both Francois Mathy and Johan Heins. Alme has sired many international performers and these most notable approved sons: Galoubet, I love you and Jalisco B. Alme is another stallion who is noted an an influential stallion in the sport of international show jumping.
